Luck is a strange thing. I have not always been lucky, or a person to which things came easy, but through determination and positivity, luck has followed. The Lucky Star collection was my way of commemorating this journey of being here today, designing for you.
I want to take you back to the beginning, and dig into the inspirations for the collection, as a whole. My Lucky Star collection has been around for many years, and I am proud to be able to expand upon it, season after season, continually making the Victorian motif my own.
The e-commerce launch of the Lucky Star collection signified a very long process of building the website, blog, and then social media while sharing my jewelry with the world. However, prior to launching all of that, Lucky Star was already selling privately to collectors and was previewed by retailers...
You may be surprised to learn that the first design for the Lucky Star collection was the shield. I love stars for all of the beauty and brightness they represent, and I yearned for an everyday talisman to guide me, to shine bright over my heart.
Paying homage to my beloved Victorians with a nautical nod, the star shield was born, and the Lucky Star collection began. A modern-day protector, yours and mine, in a petite (yet hefty) collectable, and customizable charm.
