Dancing Girl, 2500 BC, Pakistan Artifact adorned in bangles

I love bangles.  For years I searched for styles that would accommodate my small wrists and I never found one that worked perfectly.  Therefore, it was the very first piece of jewelry I put into production.  I made these bangles for myself, but soon after people kept asking for their own and unknowingly I became the go-to for classic slip on bangles in silver and gold.

Many that have purchased my classic slip on bangles have done so in sets of two.  Collectors love to mix and match metals - adding and subtracting - with their own jewelry to make an original style statement.  I love to see how well my bangles play with others, they are so universal.

Bangle bracelets have been worn by men and women since before recorded history.  Bangles are a continious circular or oval shape (not to be confused with the cuff) made to slip over the hand and are traditionally not flexible. The word bangle is derived from the Hindi word bangri or bangali, which in Sanskrit means the ornament in which adorns the arm. Ancient findings tell us early bangles were made of : bronze, clay, copper, glass, gold, silver, shell, stone or any material that lent itself to craftsmanship.

In ancient times, bangles were worn as a sign of rank and a symbol of wealth.  In various other cultures, bangles have a traditional value with superstitions and diverse direct meanings.  Cultural information on bangles is vast and varies greatly, but today's bangles are now worn with as much style as their ancestors once wore as part of their traditions.  Our classic slip on bangles are perfect go-to timeless accessory that will carry you from daytime to evening in any situation with grace and style.
