THE BALANCING ACT

Life is a balancing act
"When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." - Theodore Roosevelt
In order to be successful in any endeavor, you must be in the right time and space for it to happen. Creating the perfect balance so the seesaw tips in your favor becomes easier with skilled practice and sound advice.  When we set out in creation, we don't always have to have all of the answers at the beginning.  Sometimes, the most important start is just to BEGIN. Here, I share with you a few great pieces of advice in the hopes some of these words will inspire you, whatever space you may be in.

“The secret to getting ahead is getting started.”  - Mark Twain

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” - Napoleon Hill

"Never look back in regret...a setback is never a bad experience, just a learning curve." - Richard Branson, Virgin

"I think anyone who makes products has this simultaneous joy and, almost, shame looking at it. You look at it all day and all you can see is all these things you want to make better." - Ben Silbermann, Pinterest

"Be overly critical of all the little details - everyone will eventually notice." - Jessica Alba

“I’m here to build something for the long-term. Anything else is a distraction.” – Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook
