A LITTLE GIRL WITH BIG DREAMS
I used to write stories as a young child
I was always pushed to be exceptional at anything I tried, or told not to try at all
I always got back up after I failed, even if no one was there to witness my failure
I was surrounded by skilled craftsman, the sounds of their machinery still loops in my head
I didn't have the gift of sketch, so I learned to use my vivid imagination
I see everything in shapes, which I credit my education in pattern drafting
I learned you have to protect your soul, yet give back to those who support you
I always knew that any dream is never too big, no matter how small you are
What are you dreams? Are you living them?
What are you dreams? Are you living them?
