I can't fault her stylist for choosing Neil Lane, a longtime celebrity favorite, but where is the color? We want to be wowed at the Oscars. Viewers are looking for the ultimate fantasy in design and jewelry. If I were her stylist and knew in advance she was choosing a red Dior dress I would have been on speed dial with Cathy, Irene, or Lorraine (maybe even Christies auction house) and got some rubies, fire opals, yellow sapphires, 22k gold and diamonds on her STAT.
